June is when the far-northern mountains start receiving torrential rains and there may be flash floods. There may also be typhoons or tropical depressions brushing through Vietnam’s sea or inland but not often. It is best to consult local travel specialists if you want to take a trip into this region.
June is when the Central Coast suffers constantly from high temperatures (30-40oC). Along with the constant heat strike, there is a high danger of forest fires. Make sure you have enough cover when traveling outdoors in the strong sunshine.
