Moc Chau Cycling Tour Overview
On the trip, we will ride our bike on steep mountain roads, village trails and dirt paths in Hoa Binh and Son La Provinces.

The right time to do the trip is from November through April. Accommodation is at an ethnic family surrounded by idyllic nature. Apart from physical challenge, the trip provides you with an opportunity to have more understanding of the local ethnic minorities and their culture.

Detailed itinerary
Day1 Hanoi – Moc Chau (190km, Cycling 100km) (L/D)
0800 A.M Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Hoa Binh by car. From Hoa Binh City, we get our bike and cycle uphill amid rolling hills, rice fields, sugarcane plantations, gardens of oranges.
Lunch en route.
After lunch, we travel by car for 1 hour and then pedal amid the fresh air and stunning mountains into Moc Chau Plateau.

Tea plantations at Moc Chau
Day2 Moc Chau Biking (40km) (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the homestay.
Full day exploring Moc Chau Plateau and learn about the local tea industry, milk industry. On our cycling today, we visit Thai and Hmong communities. Most of our biking is on trails amid tea plantations, gardens of plums and peaches, meadows with fresh air and breathtaking scenery.
Picnic lunch.

Day3 Moc Chau – Mai Chau – Hanoi (190km, Cycling 70km) (B/L)
Breakfast at the homestay.
Cycle on a deserted back road to Mai Chau Valley, home to White Thai villages.
We have lunch in Mai Chau at a house on stilts and have time for a walking tour of the communities. Then, travel back to Hanoi by car. We arrive back in Hanoi in late afternoon concluding our biking adventure to Moc Chau Plateau.
