Nam Dinh Travel Guide Overview

The capital of Nam Dinh is Nam Dinh City, 90km south of Hanoi. There are crisscrossing rivers within Nam Dinh and between Nam Dinh and other provinces which used to make transport not convenient. Recently several new roads are built with bridges spanning the rivers. The waterways are overhauled which makes them accessible to bigger vessels. The local economy seems to be taking off new several new economic sectors: shipping, industrial zones, aquaculture, horticulture... Local tourism is also showing progress slowly.
