Quang Ngai Province is located in the Central Region of Vietnam; bordered to the north by Quang Nam Province, to the south by Binh Dinh Province, to the west of Kon Tum Province, to the south-west by Gia Lai Province and to the east by the East-Vietnam Sea. The capital city of Quang Ngai Province is Quang Ngai City, 130km south of Da Nang, 130km south of Hoi An Old Town, 170km north Quy Nhon City, 400km north of Nha Trang.

Quang Ngai has over 100km of coastline which is home to a number of white sand beaches like My Khe Beach, Sa Huynh Beach, Still, there's lack of investment into the province that infrastructure for the travel business is still in poor conditions. The My Khe Beach is close to the infamous My Lai Massacre site. The beach is quiet and with fine white sand.
3/ Truong Luy ( Ancient Defense Walls)
The walls which stretches in Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh. There are conflicting ancient reports as to the length of the walls: 117 Vietnamese Miles or 177 Vietnamese Miles. Modern archaeologists also have report conflicting figures: 200km or 300km.
The walls were built by the Nguyen Dynasty who wanted to defend against the invasion by ethnic groups in the Central Highlands. The ancient walls were built with rock and earth, 2m high, 1.5m thick. There were bamboo bush and groves and a 3-m moat outside of the walls.
