Detailed itinerary
We travel 30 km( 0.5 hour) from Hanoi to the famous 300 hundred year-old Pagoda of But Thap. Then, proceed to Dong Ho Woodblock Printing Village. After that, join our car for a trip through idyllic countryside of Bac Ninh to Phat Tich Pagoda, among the oldest one in Vietnam. At Phat Tich, we will climb the mountain for a panoramic view of the whole surroundings.
Lunch at a local family.
In the afternoon, visit Dong Ky village where you see all Vietnamese traditional wooden furniture manually made decorated with pearl mother inlays. There are a wide range of small look-like antique items for sales that you may like to bring home.
Then, we drive to the Do Temple which is dedicated to the 8 kings of the Ly dynasty in the 11th – 13th centuries. At Do Temple, let us get charmed by a traditional performance of Quan Ho Folk Songs by local singers. You may like to know that Quan Ho Bac Ninh Folk Songs are listed as intangible Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO. The trip concludes in Hanoi in late afternoon.
