Our half-a-day tour from Hanoi to the old village of Duong Lam takes half a day. This tour is for those of you who wish to get closer to understanding Vietnamese traditional architecture and daily life.

The pace of the trip is easy and relaxing. You’ll be walking in the tiny village paths to different old houses, temples and pagodas which date back to some 300-400 years ago.

Detailed itinerary
0800 A.M Our tour guide and driver pick you up from your hotel and we travel to Son Tay Town. Out in the countryside, the traffic is easier and the air is fresher; once we get to Duong Lam, all is just quiet.
On arrival, we’ll visit families who live in old houses and learn about the history of their village and houses. Then, we’ll move onto Mong Phu Community House and learn about the village life and activities of the community on important occasions. Proceed to the two temples dedicated to 2 kings of Vietnam who were from the village and learn about a piece of the Vietnamese history. Before we conclude our visit, we have some relaxing time getting lost in the zen atmosphere of the Mia Pagoda. We’ll conclude our trip at your hotel in Hanoi in the early afternoon.
