- While Paradis sa guides choose the restaurants and food stalls carefully, hygienic conditions are still in question given nature of these places, especially in the summer. Detailed itinerary
The Old Quarter of Hanoi is an amazing place with many busy small roads, thoroughfares, tiny alleys which all teem with activities days and nights. On these roads and alleys you can find all kinds of shops, restaurants, hotels, offices...
Our culinary tour starts late in the morning when restaurants and food stalls prepare the food for lunch and it's when more fun can be found walking in the Old Quarter... You will have more ideas of how foodstuff is prepared and how dishes are cooked. At lunch time, you will be surprised to find that the dark tiny alleys full of smoke are filled up with people and activities. The the air is just full of food smell. We will stop at some of the restaurants for our guide to give you demonstrations and for you to take photos as well as to taste the food. For those of you who choose to dine at a food court, we will take a taxi there for lunch then back to the hotel.
