Hang Pagoda (Cave Pagoda or Tunnel Pagoda) also called Kompom Chray Pagoda is 5km from Tra Vinh Town. The area of over 2 hecta of Hang Pagoda is completely covered in green forest. Hang Pagoda is also home to hundreds if not thousands of birds and storks. Visiting the Hang Pagoda, you will have to be careful not to be bombarded by their droppings which are like rain drops in late afternoon.

The former residence of Hoang A Tuong in Bac Ha (Lao Cai Province) was built from 1914-1921. This was a residence and a working place of the father-son Hoang Yen Tchao and Hoang A Tuong who were chiefs of Bac Ha back that time. The family was of Tay origin but some may still refer to the residence as the Hmong King’s Residence in Bac Ha. The residence has a mixed architecture of French and Chinese styles.
Hoang Hoa Tham Campaign was from 23-March to 28-March-1951 and from 4 to 5-April-1951. During the campaign there were important battles around and at Mao Khe, and it is known as the Battle of Mao Khe to the French. Viet Minh's targets included French positions along Route 17 and 18.
