The One Pillar Pagoda (also known as Dien Huu or Lien Hoa Dai) is located near Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum in Hanoi. The site was originally in the Royal Garden when the pagoda was first built.

When it comes to December and January the spinach fields on the outskirt of Hanoi start blooming. The Phu Dong Temple is in Phu Dong Village, Gia Lam District, Hanoi, Vietnam. The Temple was first built by King Hung Vuong VI, then rebuilt in the 11th Century A.D by King Ly Thai To, after he moved the capital city from Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh to Thang Long (Hanoi now). Phu Dong Temple is dedicated to  a Vietnamese National Hero - Saint Giong (Thanh Giong), who defeated the invaders and went back to heaven after the country was liberated.

Quan Thanh Temple was built during the rein of King Ly Cong Uan – Ly Thai To (1010-1028) dedicated to a magician or a patron saint who helped the locals against the bad spirits who often haunted their life. The temple is in a leafy compound located to the southeast corner of the West Lake in Hanoi Vietnam.

Saint Giong Temple, also called Soc Son Temple, is located in Soc Son District of Hanoi, 40km from the city center. The temple is built at the foot of the Horse Mountain which was believed to be the place where Saint Giong stopped for a rest after fighting off the invaders restoring peace to Vietnam...

In the seventh lunar month of 1010, King Ly Cong Uan moved the capital city of Vietnam from Hoa Lu (in Ninh Binh Province now) to Dai La City which he renamed Thang Long or the City of Ascending Dragon, which is nowadays Hanoi. In the same year,  lots of work were started to build palaces and auxiliary buildings to house the royal family and the royal court.

The French Quarter of Hanoi was built to the south of the Old Quarter and the Hoan Kiem Lake from 1883, right after the French arrival in the city. The French Quarter of Hanoi is characterized with wide tree-lined boulevards, sidewalk cafes, fine-dining restaurants, luxurious hotels and French-styled villas.

Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword) located in the center of Ha Noi, south of the Old Quarters and North of the French Quarters with nice setting, with surprising Vietnamese culture and with the wish for peace of the Vietnamese.

The Temple of Literature in Hanoi, which was The First University of Vietnam and which dates back to the 11th century, is the symbol of the Vietnamese learning tradition. The Temple of Literature (The Temple of Knowledge) was built in 1070 as the place for worshiping Confucius and his disciples, since that time Confucianism was the national ideology of Vietnam.

The West Lake of Hanoi has an area of 520 hectares. It was part of the Red River earlier, but when the river silted up, the West Lake along with many other lakes in Hanoi were created naturally.

The Tran Quoc Pagoda (Nation-Protecting Pagoda) is located on the Golden Fish Peninsula (Kim Ngu) in the West Lake (Ho Tay) of Hanoi. Having typical Vietnamese Buddhist architecture and surrounded by amazing natural landscape, Tran Quoc Pagoda is popular a pilgrimage point and a tourist attraction in Hanoi.
