Bach Ma National Park is 60km south of Hue City, 730km south of Ha Noi and 1,000km north of Ho Chi Minh City (or Sai Gon). The national park is in the territory of Thua Thien Hue Province and the park includes the forests on the northern slope of the Hai Van (Sea Cloud) Pass.

Khai Dinh Tomb is 10km from Hue City and is among the most interesting tombs of the Nguyen Kings. The construction of Khai Dinh Tomb was started on 4th September, 1920 and works were done only after 11 years. Khai Dinh was the last king of the Nguyen Dynasty to build a tomb for himself.

Minh Mang was the ruling king of Vietnam from 1820 to 1841. In 1826, the King ordered the search for a good site to build his tomb and found the place only in 1840.

Phuoc Tich Village started its history in 1470 and the village is almost surrounded by the O Lau River which flows its way all the way from the northwest, west, south, east and northeaster of the village.
