Detailed itinerary
0700 A.M Depart from your hotel and follow the new highway to Thai Nguyen City. Once having passed the city, we turn into Route 1B which is small but in fair condition. The temperature here is normally cooler than in the Red River Delta. We will be traveling in between two high mountain ranges with different rice valleys all the way to Bac Son Town. On arrival, we climb to the top of Mount Na Lay to have a panoramic view of the valley. From the top, you will have stunning photos of the valley with multicolored rice patches.
In the early afternoon, we will be descending the mountain for lunch at a local restaurant or at a Tay family in the village. Then, more photography of the rice fields at a closer range and of the village life and houses on stilts.
In mid afternoon, we will wrap up our photography of Bac Son for the 3-hour road trip back to Hanoi. We arrive back at the city in the early evening.
