Detailed itinerary

Day1 Hanoi – Ho Family Citadel – Cuc Phuong National Park (L/D) Cho Chi Tree of 1,000 years old

Leaving Hanoi, we travel on High Way No.1 for Thanh Hoa Province. Then we turn into a quiet provincial road which travels through peaceful villages. The scenery on the roadside is idyllic and we have ample photo opportunities. Arriving at Vinh Loc in Thanh Hoa Province, we visit the stone citadel of Ho Family.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, follow country roads to Cuc Phuong National Park. Arriving at the park in late afternoon, check into the hotel and have free time to wander amid the fresh nature.
Overnight at Cuc Phuong.

Day2 Visit of Cuc Phuong/Cuc Phuong – Tam Coc (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Cuc Phuong National Park: the Primate Center, the Cave of Primitive Man, and Cho Chi Tree which is a thousand years old.

In the afternoon, leave for Tam Coc. Visit Bich Dong, a 15th century Buddhist Pagoda built into limestone mountain.
Leisure time walking amid the heavenly landscape of Tam Coc, part of Trang An World Heritage Site.

Day3 Tour of Tam Coc and Hoa Lu/Ninh Binh – Ha Noi (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Have 2-hour boat trip amid the stunning nature of Tam Coc, then enoy a walking tour to Hang Mua to have a panoramic view of the whole region. When the rice ripens, you can have great photos of the golden rice fields below.
Lunch at Tam Coc.
In the afternoon, visit Hoa Lu the site of the capital city of Vietnam in the 10th century. Road trip back to Hanoi concluding our great family holiday.
